Japanese gashapon manufacturer BLUE MOUNTAIN (Blue Mountain Co., Ltd.), established in 2025, will release a gashapon series this February that allows you to recruit a massive army and build a formidable force of thousands: "THE Terracotta Army" (ザ・兵馬俑)! The suggested retail price is 400 Japanese Yen per capsule, with a total of six styles and two color variations to collect.
The "Terracotta Army of Qin Shi Huang," which continues to guard the Emperor of Qin in the afterlife and currently has over 8,000 unearthed pieces, is now miniaturized into gashapon for you to arrange your troops! Just like the original Terracotta Army's composition, featuring various soldier and horse figures, this gashapon series also includes five types of soldier figures and one type of horse figure. In addition to appreciating the detailed facial textures, armor, and leg guards, they also come in two versions: gray and terracotta color.
Regarding the distribution ratio, it is currently known that one gashapon capsule will contain either "two Terracotta Army soldiers" or "one warhorse figure." Looking at the type distribution, collecting multiple capsules will also align with the original Terracotta Army's composition, where soldier figures far outnumber horse figures.
