GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan's popular product series "Nendoroid" (ねんどろいど) recently announced its latest product from Osamu Tezuka's medical manga "Black Jack": "Black Jack" (ブラック・ジャック)! It will be simultaneously released in both anime and manga color schemes, with an estimated release in June 2026 and a suggested retail price of 6,500 JPY.
The "Nendoroid Black Jack" stands approximately 10 cm tall, reinterpreting the genius rogue surgeon in the series' classic chibi proportion. It not only faithfully recreates his iconic black suit and wind-swept coat but also fully restores his black and white hair that almost covers his right eye, and the large scar on his face. Accessories include three interchangeable expression plates: a cool "expressionless face," a "reserved face," and a "smiling face," along with a surgical knife and a briefcase. The anime color version features a dark red bow tie, while the manga version has a blue bow tie, and the artificial skin on the left side of his face is an extremely pale color.
