Bandai's GASHAPON division is launching a new product based on the classic anime "Inuyasha" – the "Inuyasha Hanging Mascot Charms" gashapon. The suggested retail price is 400 JPY per capsule, and it is scheduled to be released in the third week of March 2026!
"Inuyasha" tells the story of protagonist Kagome Higurashi, who accidentally travels 500 years back in time to Japan's Sengoku period. There, she encounters the half-demon "Inuyasha," and later befriends a group of companions including the monk Miroku, the demon slayer Sango, the two-tailed demon cat Kirara, and the young fox demon Shippo. Together, they embark on a journey to confront their arch-nemesis Naraku while searching for fragments of the Shikon Jewel.
Each "Inuyasha Hanging Mascot Charm" measures approximately 3.5 cm tall. They are crafted in an adorable, roughly 2-head-tall proportion, depicting Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, Miroku, Sango, and Sesshomaru in a suspended pose. The charm ring on their collars gives the impression that they are hanging in mid-air! The charms come in two versions: ball chain and lobster clasp, offering a total of 12 variations. Collectors can also connect all the charms together using the hooks on the figures' chests and heads, creating a fun display of the entire group hanging together!
