South Korean high-end collectible brand BLITZWAY has launched a new product based on the film "Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope" – the "Obi-Wan Kenobi" 1/4 scale collectible statue. The suggested retail price is 77,880 JPY, limited to 500 pieces, with an estimated shipping date of December 2026!
In "Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope," a young Luke Skywalker, while searching for R2-D2 who had left home in the middle of the night with C-3PO, encountered his eccentric neighbor – the elderly Obi-Wan, operating under the alias "Ben Kenobi." Through their subsequent conversations, Luke learned that Ben was his father's former comrade, gained knowledge about the Jedi Knights, and embarked on a journey with Ben to rescue Leia.
This Obi-Wan Kenobi 1/4 scale collectible statue stands approximately 57 cm tall, meticulously crafted to reflect his calm and composed demeanor during his duel with Darth Vader in the film. The sculpt faithfully reproduces the facial details of Sir Alec Guinness, subtly capturing Obi-Wan's profound gaze, marked by the passage of time! Accessories include a pair of interchangeable hands (left and right), allowing for dynamic poses such as hands on hips or holding the LED-illuminated lightsaber. The costume features fabric tailoring to accurately recreate the Jedi robes worn in the film. The base replicates the interior ground of the Death Star, showcasing realistic texture through exquisite weathering techniques, and includes an LED lighting function at the bottom to enhance visual richness!
