PLEX, a Japanese company, has released a new themed product in its "Mini Soft Vinyl Chronicle" (ミニソフビクロニクル) monster soft vinyl blind box series: "Godzilla Mini Soft Vinyl Chronicle (JAPAN ART ~Sakura~)". Each box is priced at 550 JPY and is available starting today as a Godzilla Store exclusive!
This "Godzilla Mini Soft Vinyl Chronicle (JAPAN ART ~Sakura~)" collection is themed around Japan's iconic cherry blossoms, reimagining various anniversary edition Godzillas with spring-inspired color schemes. It features six distinct styles: Godzilla (1954) in classic cherry blossom colors; Godzilla (1964) inspired by Mothra's scales; Godzilla (1974) utilizing the Kanhi-zakura (Taiwan cherry) colors inspired by Okinawa, the setting of its film; Godzilla (1984) adopting a "Yozakura" (night cherry blossom) color scheme for night battles; Godzilla (1993) combining Rodan's golden energy with cherry blossom elements; and Godzilla (2023), inspired by its bluish-white atomic breath and sea battles, evoking the imagery of "cherry blossoms falling on a lake surface". From classic cherry blossom pinks to deep pinks inspired by Okinawan mountain cherries, each figure cleverly blends cinematic plot points with the imagery of cherry blossoms. Godzilla fans absolutely won't want to miss this!
