GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan's popular "Nendoroid" (ねんどろいど) product series has announced its latest item from "Ace of Diamond act II Season 2": "Eijun Sawamura" (さわむら えいじゅん)! It is scheduled for release in October 2026, with a suggested retail price of 7,800 JPY.
Eijun Sawamura is a pitcher for Seido High School. Initially, his greatest weapons were his naturally flexible muscles and a unique pitching form that made it difficult for batters to see his release point, combined with irregular movement on his pitches to strike out batters. Although he once experienced a slump and was unable to throw his once-favorite inside pitches due to pitching amnesia, Sawamura never gave up, continuously refining his pitching technique and mental fortitude. In the summer of his second year, he took on the ace pitcher's "1" jersey number.
In addition to his sharp fastball, he also developed a changeup, an improved disappearing cutter, and other breaking balls. As a batter, Sawamura is also quite skilled at bunting, not to be underestimated!
