BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has unveiled a new product in its S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou series based on "Kamen Rider KABUTO" – the "Kamen Rider KABUTO Rider Form 20th Anniversary Ver." action figure. It is priced at 11,000 JPY and is scheduled for release in September 2026!
The story of "Kamen Rider KABUTO," which aired in 2006, tells of an unknown extraterrestrial lifeform called Worms that mimicked humans and operated in the city, continuously killing people, after a meteorite crashed and destroyed Shibuya. To combat this threat, the human counter-organization ZECT developed the Rider System. At a critical moment, the protagonist Souji Tendou, a non-member of the organization, seized the qualification of Kabuto with overwhelming strength, embarking on a fated battle against the Worms.
This "Kamen Rider KABUTO Rider Form 20th Anniversary Ver." stands approximately 14.5 cm tall. It appears to utilize the Shinkocchou Seihou technique, which sculpts outward from the muscles to the costume, for its Rider Form action prototype. The colors of the suit from the show have been reinterpreted, reproducing a completely new color scheme different from the 2014 version and the 2024 Shinkocchou Seihou 10th Anniversary version! Additionally, a new light-gathering effect part for the head has been added, allowing for a glowing effect when light is shone from behind!
Accessories include three types of interchangeable left hands, four types of interchangeable right hands, the Kabuto Kunai Gun (カブトクナイガン) weapon in both gun mode and kunai mode. The base features the "Kamen Rider KABUTO" 20th Anniversary Logo, allowing fans to perfectly display their 20 years of love for KABUTO with its flexible articulation and exquisite sculpting!
