BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has officially unveiled a new product under its S.H.Figuarts action figure brand, based on the popular anime "One Piece"—the "Portgas D. Ace -Marineford Summit War-" action figure. It will retail for 9,900 JPY and is scheduled for release in October 2026!
The Marineford Summit War was a conflict that erupted between the Whitebeard Pirates and their vast allied pirate crews, who sought to rescue their Second Division Commander Ace from execution, and the Marine Headquarters along with the Seven Warlords of the Sea. It is regarded as the greatest battle since the Great Pirate Era. Although Whitebeard's dying words solidified pirates' faith in ONE PIECE after the war, the power shift following the fall of one of the Four Emperors significantly impacted the global situation.
A teaser was released as early as last November, and now the Summit War Ace has finally been officially unveiled! This "Portgas D. Ace -Marineford Summit War-" figure stands approximately 15.5 cm tall, crafted to replicate his appearance during the Marineford Arc. It appears to be a stylistic adjustment based on the previous "Portgas D. Ace -Fire Fist-" action figure, with sculpted details faithfully reproducing his lean musculature, shorts, and belt. The Whitebeard Pirates tattoo on his back is also meticulously printed!
The most exciting aspect this time is the accessories! It includes Sea Stone handcuffs, allowing you to recreate his appearance while bound on the execution platform. Replacement parts include four facial expressions, flaming bangs, one pair of regular interchangeable hands, three pairs of interchangeable hands with flame effects, interchangeable arms and calves with flame effects, as well as Fire Fist and general flame effect parts. This allows collectors to fully recreate various dynamic poses of Ace fighting on the battlefield after his rescue! Furthermore, continuing a series tradition, this release also includes an additional interchangeable Luffy face part, which can be combined with the "Monkey D. Luffy -Marineford Summit War-" figure, releasing this month, to recreate the iconic scene of Ace's rescue from the series!
