American toy maker Super7 has just unveiled Wave 7 of its Toho monster action figure line, "Toho ULTIMATES!", featuring three new Godzilla-themed products: "Godzilla (1954)," "Godzilla (1974)," and "Mechagodzilla (1974)." In this article, we're taking a closer look at the Godzilla (1974), which is priced at $95 and scheduled for a December 2026 release!
Released in 1974, "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla" (ゴジラ対メカゴジラ) is the 14th film in the Godzilla franchise. In the movie, Godzilla teams up with King Caesar to battle Mechagodzilla, a heavy mechanical weapon created by the invading Black Hole Planet 3 Aliens and built in Godzilla's own image!
This Godzilla (1974) figure stands approximately 8 inches tall, perfectly recreating his rugged hide and the iconic round eyes of the '74 design. Accessories include three pairs of interchangeable hands, a bloodied head sculpt with an articulated jaw, an alternate head for unleashing his atomic breath, and an interchangeable neck piece pierced by missiles. These parts are perfect for recreating battle scenes with the simultaneously released Mechagodzilla figure!
Additionally, a Wave 7 "Godzilla (1954) / Godzilla (1974) / Mechagodzilla (1974) Super Pack" is also being offered (MSRP $285), which includes an exclusive King Caesar statue accessory for an even more comprehensive display experience! This Super Pack is a limited release, so interested collectors shouldn't miss out!
