Dodgers Host "Godzilla -0.0" Theme Night for Final Regular Season Home Game, Giving Away Exclusive Bobbleheads to 40,000 Fans

Major League Baseball is heating up as teams claw their way through the latter half of the season, all vying for those coveted playoff berths.

Toho just dropped a bombshell on the 17th, announcing a "Godzilla Minus Zero Night" for the Los Angeles Dodgers' final regular season home game against the San Diego Padres! Mark your calendars for September 24th at Dodger Stadium, because the first 40,000 fans through the gates will snag an exclusive "Godzilla -0.0" limited edition bobblehead.

This epic event celebrates the upcoming release of director Takashi Yamazaki's latest masterpiece, "Godzilla -0.0." This new film picks up two years after the Oscar-winning "Godzilla -1.0" (which snagged Best Visual Effects at the 96th Academy Awards!), plunging the Shikishima family back into a fresh wave of terror in 1949.

"Godzilla -0.0" is set to stomp into Japanese theaters on November 3rd, followed by its North American debut on November 6th.

But wait, there's more than just freebies! The stadium will be buzzing with "Godzilla -0.0" themed performances and promos even before the first pitch. And to cap off the night, all fans will be treated to an absolutely epic Godzilla-themed drone light show after the game!

Keiji Ota, Toho's Managing Director, Executive Officer, and Chief Godzilla Officer (CGO), expressed his excitement: "We are deeply honored to once again collaborate with the Los Angeles Dodgers, a team that represents Major League Baseball and continues to captivate fans globally. Godzilla has been a beloved icon for over 70 years, and this renewed partnership holds significant meaning. We eagerly anticipate delivering an unforgettable, dream collaboration for Godzilla fans worldwide and Los Angeles Dodgers supporters. Stay tuned!"

This marks the Dodgers' final themed event of the regular season, clearly showing Toho's strategic move to hype up "Godzilla -0.0" and showcase its massive appeal. So, if you're lucky enough to catch the game, you'll get to soak in the electrifying atmosphere of an MLB showdown combined with all the monstrous fun of the theme night!
