The renowned toy manufacturer PLEX (株式会社プレックス), in collaboration with various sofubi creators for their "HEROES VINYL ART" brand, is releasing an exciting new product from the progenitor of the Super Sentai series, "Himitsu Sentai Gorenger." Introducing the "Himitsu Sentai Gorenger (Screen-Accurate Color Version)" Sofubi Set, priced at 38,500 JPY. Lottery sale registration will be open on the Premium Bandai Japan official website from July 23 to August 16, 2026, with an estimated shipping date in September 2026!
For this "Himitsu Sentai Gorenger" set, PLEX enlisted the talents of celebrated sofubi artist "P.P.PUDDING" to sculpt the prototypes! P.P.PUDDING, who initially debuted as a picture book author, later transitioned into a versatile sculptor, creating works that weave together past and present, reflecting a continuous worldview infused with their original experiences.
This release features all five iconic members: Aka Ranger, Ao Ranger, Ki Ranger, Mido Ranger, and Momo Ranger. Each figure stands approximately 12 cm tall, with P.P.PUDDING's unique style reinterpreting their in-show designs. The paintwork meticulously recreates the distinct color effects seen on classic CRT television screens from the show's original broadcast. Display them together to perfectly recreate the classic rallying cry, "The five assemble! Gorenger!"
