MegaHouse unveiled a painted prototype of its latest miniature diorama release from the "PETITRAMA" series at today's annual Godzilla Fest 2026 event. Based on the film "Godzilla Minus One," the new "PETITRAMA DX Godzilla Minus One Repaint Ver." will be officially revealed on November 5, 2026, with preorders opening November 6.
In "Godzilla Minus One," Godzilla (2023) begins as a 15-meter-tall, dinosaur-like prehistoric creature living in the deep waters around Odo Island. The island's residents know the creature as "Godzilla." Following World War II, the 1946 U.S. nuclear tests near Bikini Atoll mutate the creature into the 50-meter-tall Godzilla. Its extraordinary regenerative abilities allow it to recover almost instantly from naval gunfire, while its atomic breath carries destructive power comparable to a nuclear weapon.
▼ Standard "PETITRAMA DX Godzilla Minus One" edition
The "PETITRAMA DX Godzilla Minus One Repaint Ver." updates the previously released standard edition. Measuring 14.5 cm x 15 cm, the diorama creates a striking G-shaped silhouette and captures Godzilla bursting from the ocean to attack. The sculpt features lifelike biological detailing across the monster's entire body, while clear parts and paint effects recreate the crashing spray. The front displays the movie logo alongside the explosive wound on Godzilla's left cheek. Around back, collectors can see the creature's pre-mutation Odo Island form roaring as it appears near the beginning of the film.
While retaining the original diorama sculpt, this edition introduces an all-new paint scheme across its individual components. The movie logo is now fully painted white, and blue highlights inside Godzilla's mouth recreate the glow of its atomic breath. The ocean has also received a substantial upgrade, with deep blue water and crisp white waves replacing the standard edition's bright blue, molded-plastic appearance for a more layered and realistic finish.
