We Are the Cosmo Ranger J9! POSE+ METAL Series Charges In with Galaxy Cyclone Braiger!

Ready for action! Hong Kong toy brand POSE+ is set to release Galaxy Cyclone Braiger, part of their METAL SERIES articulated robot line, in May 2022, as one of the "J9 Series" trilogy.

Originally airing in 1981 on TV Tokyo, "Galaxy Cyclone Braiger" (銀河旋風ブライガー) is an iconic robot anime produced by Kokusai Eiga-sha. This 39-episode series is the first installment in the legendary "J9 Series" trilogy. The story is set in the year 2111, an era where humanity has expanded into space, ushering in a new cosmic age. However, a massive criminal organization known as "Connection" (コネクション) lurks in the shadows, exploiting this new frontier.

From the pleasure district within the asteroid belt, four young individuals, seeking a fresh start and leaving their pasts behind, form the "Cosmo Ranger J9" (コズモレンジャーJ9) team. Piloting the formidable giant robot Braiger (ブライガー), they travel the cosmos, resolving various nefarious incidents and earning rewards for their efforts. Their attention soon turns to the terrifying ambition of Carmen Carmen (カーメン・カーメン), the young leader of the evil organization "Nubia Connection" (ヌビア・コネクション), setting the stage for an epic conflict between the two factions.

This POSE+ Metal Series Galaxy Cyclone Braiger stands approximately 27 cm tall. Its most impressive feature is the faithful recreation of Braiger's three distinct transformation modes from the anime. Collectors can transform it into its space cruiser flight mode, "Brystar" (ブライスター), its high-speed supercar mode, "Brythunder" (ブライサンダー), and its iconic robot mode. The figure also includes interchangeable parts, allowing collectors to prioritize either seamless transformation or static display accuracy. Weapon accessories include a sword, a spear, and two shoulder-mounted cannons.
