Following the announcement of "Anna Kyoyama" from the 2021 "Shaman King" anime, Japanese toy company Megahouse's "Lucrea" character figure series is now opening pre-orders for its second entry: Yoh Asakura! The figure is priced at 16,280 JPY and is slated for release in March 2022.
The protagonist of "Shaman King," Yoh Asakura, hails from the prestigious Asakura family of shamans. Trained by his grandfather from a young age, he was ostracized by other children in town who called him "Oni Kid." His goal is to become the Shaman King and create a world where everyone can live happily. Yoh possesses an optimistic and laid-back personality, often believing that "everything will work out." He has a gentle and unwavering heart, and is both the opposite and the fated rival of his twin brother, Hao.
The "Lucrea Yoh Asakura" figure captures a dynamic battle scene, depicting Yoh and Amidamaru unleashing an Over Soul attack. Standing approximately 18 cm tall, the figure vividly portrays Amidamaru's spirited form attached to the legendary sword Harusame. Amidamaru's spirit is crafted from a semi-transparent material, featuring a delicate gradient of yellow and green, with his armor and enraged expression adding to the powerful presence. Yoh, meanwhile, sports a relaxed smile, dressed in his orange and black battle attire. Intricate details like his orange headphones and the Oracle Bell on his hand are meticulously sculpted and painted. The base is designed to resemble Amidamaru's grave mound.
