Brazilian statue manufacturer Iron Studios, known for capturing collectors' hearts (and wallets) with their 1/10 scale "Art Scale" series, recently unveiled a new addition to their "Unleashed Deluxe Art Scale" line. This new series maintains the 1/10 scale but boasts enhanced detail, kicking off with a full-body statue of Marvel Comics' God of Thunder, "Thor"! It is slated for release in Q3 2022.
Standing approximately 28 cm tall, this piece faithfully recreates Thor's classic comic book appearance, depicting the God of Thunder in a majestic, upright pose, wielding his iconic weapon, Mjolnir. The winged silver helmet and Mjolnir's hammerhead showcase a heavy, rigid metallic texture. His costume is intricately sculpted with wrinkles and leather textures, conveying a dynamic, wind-swept movement. Thor's powerful arms and chiseled chest and abdomen are realistically rendered, and even the inscriptions on Mjolnir are meticulously reproduced. Behind Thor, a blue effect piece creates a portal reminiscent of the multiverse, allowing the fan-favorite Throg to make a simultaneous appearance – a truly delightful touch!
Notably, in addition to ancient Norse runes carved into the shattered rocks, the base also features exquisite three-dimensional sculpting, including warrior busts and the Midgard Serpent, Jormungand, a character inspired by Norse mythology.
