Following their previous releases of Katsuki Bakugo and the special limited color version, Japanese manufacturer Kotobukiya is once again expanding its popular ARTFX J line with a new fan-favorite from "My Hero Academia." Get ready for the explosive debut of the ARTFX J Katsuki Bakugo Ver.2 1/8 scale figure! The figure is slated for an April 2022 release with a suggested retail price of 18,700 JPY.
Katsuki Bakugo, who dreams of becoming a hero greater than All Might, is the childhood friend and rival of the series' protagonist, Izuku Midoriya, who affectionately calls him "Kacchan." Possessing the powerful "Explosion" Quirk, Bakugo has been gifted with exceptional athletic ability and academic talent since he was young, which has fostered a prideful and self-centered personality. He proved his mettle by scoring first place in the U.A. High School entrance exam, earning him the spot of first-year student representative.
The ARTFX J Katsuki Bakugo Ver.2 1/8 scale figure stands at an impressive height of approximately 257mm. This new version features Bakugo in his updated winter hero costume! The form-fitting long-sleeved suit highlights his muscular build, capturing the exact moment he unleashes a fierce blast from his Quirk in a highly dynamic pose. His face is sculpted with a ferocious expression, and the intricate details of his costume are meticulously painted to bring out its texture. Furthermore, the figure includes fiery explosion effect parts and a detailed diorama base with shattered concrete and rebar, creating a scene packed with power and intensity!
