Brazilian statue manufacturer Iron Studios recently announced a new addition to their "Legacy Replica" series: the "Captain America Sam Wilson" 1/4 scale full-body statue, inspired by the MARVEL series "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier"! It will be released simultaneously in two versions, Closed Wings and Open Wings, with an estimated shipping date in Q4 2022.
The "Captain America Sam Wilson" statue stands approximately 57 cm tall, while the Open Wings version reaches an impressive 82 cm, making for a truly commanding presence. This piece faithfully recreates Sam Wilson as seen in the series, donning his brand-new Captain America suit and wielding the iconic Vibranium shield. The entire costume features a rich, layered design with a primary palette of white, blue, and red, accented by silver lines. Intricate details like wrinkles, shading, and weathering on the knees and calves further enhance the statue's realism. The head sculpt masterfully captures the facial likeness of actor Anthony Mackie. While the fully deployed wings offer an exhilarating display, the closed-wing pose also presents a powerful, streamlined aesthetic—both versions are incredibly striking!
