KOTOBUKIYA, a Japanese model manufacturer, recently announced the upcoming release of "Messer Float," the latest product in their Alternative sub-line of the highly customizable original plastic model series 'HEXAGEAR,' slated for November 2022.
The Messer Float is a small, unmanned Hexa Gear developed by the military-industrial complex MSG. It can be remotely controlled by a mother unit, and its fierce design resembles a hornet. The two pairs of wings on its back, of different sizes, are robust yet thin, generating thrust through high-speed vibrations, allowing it to hover or move rapidly in any direction. Its head is equipped with a high-precision optical sensor, and its tail features a plasma torch capable of easily cutting metal, enabling it to perform reconnaissance missions even in dense jungles or tunnels.
The fifth installment in the Alternative series, known for its relatively easy assembly, the "Messer Float" kit is molded in three colors: green, gunmetal, and clear red. Its wings are crafted from transparent PET film. Multiple points, including the two pairs of wings, four legs, and the tail end, feature movable joints, allowing for the recreation of agile high-speed flight and its menacing posture with the tail plasma torch deployed!
