Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya today officially announced a brand new model kit series for the "Frame Arms Girl" theme, "Qpmini". The first product in the series will feature the iconic Frame Arms Girl character, "Gourai", and is scheduled for release in January 2023.
The "Qpmini" series, with its three-head-tall chibi design, seems to inherit the spirit of the long-discontinued "Cu-poche" action figure series. Despite its mini size of approximately 65mm in height, it boasts 21 points of articulation. The overall armor design utilizes modeling data from the standard-sized FAG Gourai, delivering rich, high-density details, allowing fans to fully enjoy playing with the chibi-style Gourai in the palm of their hand.
Accessories include armaments such as a shoulder-mounted recoilless rifle, a handheld rocket launcher, and a tactical knife, along with various interchangeable hand parts and a dedicated display base. For expressions, there are two newly sculpted pre-printed face parts, and one unprinted face part for use with the included water-slide decals. Furthermore, the face parts are compatible with the standard-scale FAG series. Additionally, two weapon grip parts are included, allowing for combination with separately sold M.S.G series weapons to expand the armament options even further!
