"Bullet Train" Grand Premiere with Super Star-Studded Cast ~ World's First Breeze Cinema SONY PICTURES Theater Opens August 3rd!

The action blockbuster "Bullet Train," starring Brad Pitt, premiered today at the Breeze Cinema SONY PICTURES Theater. The event featured not only the TUMI 19 Degree aluminum briefcases that all the assassins on the train were vying for, but also everyone holding a bottle of FIJI Water, a major highlight in the film. Furthermore, a killer-themed photo backdrop, led by Brad Pitt and the star-studded cast, was available for commemorative photos. The film's incredibly cool and adorable Japanese high-speed rail mascot, "Momo-chan," not only occupied the theater seats but also made a surprise appearance to interact with the audience, making everyone feel as if they were on a real bullet train! The world's first and industry's only Breeze Cinema SONY PICTURES Theater will officially open on August 3rd (Wednesday), coinciding with the release of "Bullet Train."

Producer Kelly McCormick was also contemplating who could play the role of Ladybug before casting: "It's a fun, unique, and complex character from an unconventional perspective." When Brad Pitt confirmed his participation, director David Leitch said, "He's perfect for the role, and he brought a lot of his own ideas to the character." The director added, "You might not think of Brad Pitt for comedy, but he's truly a brilliant comedic action actor." Brad Pitt commented on his character: "Ladybug is going through an existential crisis. Too many of his jobs have gone wrong, and he starts to wonder what the connection is between these jobs and him. Ultimately, he believes he brings bad luck to those around him, which also affects his work, so he's trying to change it in a peaceful way."

Director David Leitch stated, "It's been difficult in recent years to make original films that are not sequels or superhero movies, but we were willing to take on the challenge." Although the film tells the story of a group of assassins, the director explained, "These characters also show their human side. Ladybug wants to be a better person, the brotherhood between Lemon and Tangerine shows how much they care for each other, and the relationship between Prince and her father is something we can all resonate with." Brian Tyree Henry, who plays Lemon, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who plays Tangerine, are twin assassins in the film. Their chemistry during filming was excellent, and they even shot a special character introduction video for Taiwanese audiences! Director David Leitch further raved, "Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Brian Tyree Henry are truly a perfect match, they clicked instantly!"

Yu Pu-Kang, General Manager of Sony Pictures Taiwan, excitedly stated: "Sony Pictures and Breeze Group will jointly strive for the value of theatrical exhibition, planning more exciting film lineups for the Breeze Cinema SONY PICTURES Theater, including the extended theatrical version of 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' and more Sony Pictures Marvel superhero films; popular PlayStation video game adaptations; the Japanese anime series launched by 'Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero'; big-screen re-releases of classic films from Sony Pictures Classics such as 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' and 'Call Me By Your Name'; as well as 【鬼才之道】 co-invested and produced by Sony Pictures and Activator Marketing, and more future Taiwanese films!"

Ichiro Oka, Executive Director of Breeze Group, happily stated: "We are delighted to have the world's first Breeze Cinema SONY PICTURES Theater at Breeze Center. In the future, Breeze Mega Studio will be located on the 7th, 8th, and 10th floors, featuring two theaters and three event venues. We look forward to everyone's visit!"
