Ranked alongside the 'Batman: Arkham' series as one of the best superhero titles of the decade, and outselling 'God of War', 'Marvel's Spider-Man' has finally been officially ported to the PC platform on the 12th of this month, four years after its original release.

The ported version is 'Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered', originally exclusive to PS5. This version is not only renowned as a technical showcase for SONY but also features numerous performance enhancements. Now, let's give our readers a simple preview to explore the game's features and the PC version's highlights!

'Marvel's Spider-Man' is an open-world action game with a completely original universe, unrelated to existing movie universes or any comic books. In this game, players take on the role of an adult Peter Parker, still struggling financially, assisting Dr. Otto's research while carrying out his duties as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. But who knew that this life would undergo astonishing changes after he apprehended Kingpin...
While I can't delve into too much detail to avoid spoilers, the story of 'Marvel's Spider-Man' is arguably one of the best in all Spider-Man games throughout the years. It not only lays excellent groundwork for the villains' origins but also brilliantly showcases Spider-Man's iconic elements and spirit. In my opinion, it performs on par with, or even surpasses, SONY's own 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse'. The narrative alone is a masterpiece. Furthermore, this Remastered edition includes the three-part DLC, easily providing 20-30 hours of main story gameplay, preparing players for the upcoming 'Miles Morales'.

Next, the most enjoyable part of the game is undoubtedly the web-swinging, designed as the movement system. The web-swinging controls are not only incredibly intuitive but also immensely satisfying to play. You can use webs and various tricks to freely explore this miniature New York City. At any moment, you can perch on the corner of a building or atop a lamppost, overlooking New York just like Spider-Man. This aspect remains incredibly fluid even on the PC version, and I believe even keyboard and mouse players will find it easy to master.

Furthermore, the combat in this title also feels very 'Spider-Man'. In addition to using web-shooters to pin enemies to walls or entangle them, the incredibly exhilarating high-speed combat and diverse throwable objects are captivating. By accumulating 'Focus' and 'Suit Power', you can unleash various spectacular finishing moves and suit abilities. For instance, the most basic Spider-Suit can launch a barrage of webs like a celestial maiden scattering flowers, trapping opponents. And the classic Iron Spider Suit, of course, extends its four metallic arms to pummel opponents, making for a truly thrilling combat experience.

The game features a combat system centered around 'Perfect Dodge', which not only delivers satisfying impact but also offers diverse maneuvers and Spider-Gadgets that are incredibly addictive. Especially the game's ultimate moves, which are not only incredibly cool in their execution but also feature slow-motion effects that immerse players in a cinematic experience. Below, we've captured a few of the more visually impressive ultimate moves; for the rest, we invite you to experience them firsthand in the game!

Incidentally, the game naturally includes Spider-Man's essential stealth elements. Silently sticking enemies one by one to lampposts from high vantage points truly captures the essence of Spider-Man. Be sure to try this out during stronghold battles!

To satisfy players' collecting desires and enhance gameplay, the game also offers a plethora of collectibles filled with Easter eggs throughout New York City, diverse challenges and research missions, 'Suits' that can be unlocked by completing missions, and 'Bases' where villains congregate. If you complete a full collection run, you can expect an additional 30+ hours of gameplay. It is these rich elements and the Spider-Man-esque story that allowed this title to sell tens of millions of copies, ultimately prompting SONY to acquire the developer as one of their first-party studios.

In addition to porting all the aforementioned content, the PC version further enhances visuals based on the PS5 version.
It not only re-optimized graphics and supports ultrawide screens but also utilized NVIDIA and AMD's deep learning technologies to unlock restricted frame rates and improved ray tracing and shadow performance. With a sufficiently powerful graphics card, you can experience 4K 60 frames per second, or even higher, on PC. The ray tracing also appears sharper than the PS5 version, and pausing to examine any scene reveals an astonishing level of detail. Even loading times are significantly faster than the original, demonstrating excellent memory management this time around.

In conclusion, even with the sequel on the horizon, the PC version of 'Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered' still delivers a performance worthy of AAA status. Beyond the already rich original content, this PC release boasts significant visual enhancements. If you're playing on PC for the first time, this might just be the most beautiful open-world game you've ever seen, and simultaneously the best Spider-Man game. Finally, let us provide you with a BOSS fight video, so you can personally experience the game's splendor!
