American toy manufacturer NECA announced today (30th) the re-release of the "Billy the Puppet on Tricycle" 12-inch talking figure from the horror film "Saw"! Shipping is expected to begin in January 2023.
"Saw" is a horror film directed by James Wan and released in 2004. The chilling horror puppet "Billy," who represents the Jigsaw Killer to communicate with victims in the film, is undoubtedly one of the most iconic symbols of the "Saw" series! The line "I want to play a game." is an unforgettable quote (for Taiwanese audiences, "『PLAY蝦咪GAME』" should also be very familiar XD); in addition to appearing on numerous small screens, the scene where he slowly rides in on a tricycle, emitting a sinister laugh, is also incredibly classic.
NECA's re-released "Billy," returning after many years, stands at an impressive 30 cm tall, perfectly recreating Billy's appearance riding the tricycle in the film. The official statement indicates that this Billy will feature a brand-new paint application and a Closed Box style packaging. Batteries will be included, and pressing the button on his back will play classic movie sound effects! Highly recommended for collectors who missed out before.
