Bushiroad Creative (ブシロードクリエイティブ), a Japanese company, will release the "Daimyo Frog" gashapon (tentative translation, 殿様がえる) under its original gashapon toy brand "TAMA-KYU." The series will feature frogs as its theme, with a total of five types available. The reference price per capsule is 500 JPY, and it is scheduled to launch in September 2022.
The "Daimyo Frog" gashapon, approximately 45 mm in size, is inspired by "The Lords of Reiwa." It dresses frogs in the distinguished attire of noble lords from Japanese period dramas, featuring elegant haori robes, traditional topknots, and accented with luxurious gold. The frogs' skin is also intricately sculpted, meticulously recreating details such as the slippery texture using clear parts and the characteristic epidermal bumps. Paired with accessories like fans and samurai swords, these figures surprisingly blend in perfectly! Upon seeing these Daimyo, one can't help but pay homage!
