Tsume-Art IKIGAI Series "Naruto Shippuden" Gaara 1/6 Scale Figure: First Unveiling the Shocking Scene of Sand Waterfall Funeral!

Luxembourg's premier statue team Tsume-Art, renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship and magnificent dioramas, has once again unveiled a new release from its "IKIGAI" series, following "Naruto" and "Sasuke". This time, it's a 1/6 scale full-body statue of "Gaara" from "Naruto Shippuden". Limited to 1,800 units worldwide, it is expected to ship between Q3 2023 and Q1 2024.

The popular character "Gaara", who appears in the "Naruto" series, is known as "Gaara of the Sand Waterfall". He is the son of the Fourth Kazekage, Rasa, and was born as a jinchuriki, with the giant, raccoon-like Tailed Beast, Shukaku, sealed within him, a sacrifice that cost his mother her life. Although he possessed the powerful ability to manipulate sand at will, he suffered from severe insomnia, always having deep dark circles under his eyes. Even his father viewed Gaara as a threat and sought to assassinate him. His lonely and tragic childhood experiences caused Gaara to lose his emotions. He carved the kanji for "love" (愛) onto his forehead with sand and unleashed Shukaku's power, becoming a person who "loves only himself and fights only for himself."

The "Tsume-Art Gaara IKIGAI" 1/6 scale full-body statue is inspired by the anime episode "Akamaru Trembles! Gaara's Cruel Strength", recreating the shocking scene where Gaara first unleashed his violent techniques—Sand Coffin (砂縛柩) + Sand Waterfall Funeral (砂瀑送葬)—crushing a Hidden Leaf Village participant alive in front of Hinata and her companions. Gaara is depicted standing amidst a sand waterfall, with sand and debris scattering forward from the giant gourd on his back. The rough, granular texture of the sand is realistically crafted, enhancing the sense of flow and overall tension of the sand.
