Following the release of "Kamen Rider No. 1" and "Cyclone" from the movie Shin Kamen Rider, Japanese model manufacturer MEDICOM TOY's large-scale action figure series 'RAH (REAL ACTION HEROES)' has announced its latest product, "RAH Kamen Rider No. 2 (Shin Kamen Rider)", with a suggested retail price of 42,900 JPY, slated for release in February 2024.
The Kamen Rider 50th Anniversary commemorative work, Shin Kamen Rider, directed by Hideaki Anno, is a reinterpretation of the original 1971 Kamen Rider, and the fourth film in the "Shin Japan Heroes Universe" series. Featuring talented young actors Sosuke Ikematsu as the new generation Takeshi Hongo and Tasuku Emoto as Hayato Ichimonji, the film blends nostalgic elements with a modern style, allowing audiences to once again experience Kamen Rider No. 1 and No. 2 teaming up to fight the evil organization "Shocker".
The "RAH Kamen Rider No. 2 (Shin Kamen Rider)" action figure stands approximately 30 cm tall, crafted with highly articulated specifications for flexible posing. Its sculpt faithfully recreates the distinct head design from the film, differing from No. 1, and meticulously restores details such as the compound eyes, heavy chest armor, and the characteristic exposed hair beneath the mask, all through precise sculpting and rich color application! Various body parts are made from soft plastic, and combined with interchangeable hand parts, fans can enjoy recreating classic transformation poses and battle stances from the film.
The upper and lower body suit, designed in a leather style, utilizes highly durable synthetic leather, while the red scarf and black coat are sewn from fabric, authentically recreating the texture of the film's costume while maintaining the full range of motion for each joint.
