Japanese gashapon manufacturer Kitan Club's (キタンクラブ) "ART IN THE POCKET (AIP)" series will collaborate with renowned artist Taro Okamoto to release the super cute tokusatsu drama "TAROMAN" gashapon series, featuring "TAROMAN". There will be five different designs, each priced at 500 JPY per turn, scheduled for release in April 2023.
Why is there a strange fellow here? If you call him with all your heart, he will appear! That is TAROMAN (タローマン), the giant of love and art! Inspired by giant transforming hero tokusatsu dramas aired in the 70s, and created by combining Taro Okamoto's works and famous quotes, the nostalgic tokusatsu drama "TAROMAN" tells the story of a giant from a surrealist planet who confronts various strange beasts with absurd, unconventional actions and peculiar poses.
The "AIP Series TAROMAN" gashapon faithfully recreates TAROMAN's distinctive and familiar silver body, with its iconic sun face making a dazzling appearance! A total of five designs are included: the standard standing pose Giant TAROMAN, Exploding Art Giant TAROMAN, Relaxed Giant TAROMAN, Giant TAROMAN Who Can Pierce Building Windows, and Kind Giant TAROMAN No. 2. Each figure is approximately 60-70mm, both inexplicably humorous and full of artistic flair!
