Max Factory, a Japanese model manufacturer, has announced the latest product from its popular "figma" articulated figure series, "Mio," from the RPG 《Xenoblade Chronicles 3》, scheduled for release in February 2024.
This product recreates Mio, the adorable cat-eared heroine of 《Xenoblade Chronicles 3》, as an articulated figure approximately 16 cm tall. It features intricate sculpting and color application to reproduce her attire, which blends Agnus military uniform with modern clothing. Each joint is precisely segmented, allowing for a flexible range of motion with figma's unique joint parts while maintaining the integrity of her design. Mio can be equipped with her weapon, the Twin Moons, used in her "Zephyr" class, as well as the flute she plays as an "Off-Seer" for fallen soldiers, allowing fans to recreate her battle poses from the game.
The rich array of accessories also includes 4 interchangeable face parts: "standard face," "shouting face," "closed-eyes face," and "smiling face," along with 5 pairs of interchangeable hand parts. Also included is Mio's diary, which she meticulously kept to record her journey before the "Homecoming" at the end of her life, allowing for the recreation of her transformation from a "soldier" without self-identity to a "person" who understands the meaning of life. Furthermore, a "long-haired" head part is included to recreate her appearance after a certain significant event in the game!
