Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY, following the release of "Chisato Nishikigi" based on the popular anime "Lycoris Recoil," is now launching its latest product: the "Takina Inoue" 1/7 scale figure! The suggested retail price is 19,500 JPY, with an estimated release in May 2024.
The original Japanese TV anime "Lycoris Recoil (リコリス・リコイル)," produced by A-1 Pictures, is set ten years after the "Radio Tower Incident" where the Tokyo Radio Tower was attacked by terrorists. Japan's public safety has long been ranked number one in the world, but this peace is secretly maintained by a clandestine organization called "DA" (Direct Attack), which employs a group of young female agents known as "Lycoris." These highly trained girls operate discreetly in the city, disguised in school uniforms, responsible for handling and concealing crimes.
The calm and efficient killing machine, Takina Inoue, was initially a Lycoris agent who would mercilessly shoot down enemies and showed no concern for the safety of her teammates or hostages. Due to a mission oversight, she was transferred to work with Chisato at the Japanese-style café LycoReco, with her sole desire being to return to DA. After meeting Chisato, her attitude and perspective gradually began to change.
The GSC "Takina Inoue" 1/7 scale figure stands approximately 22.5 cm tall, faithfully recreating Takina's cool and beautiful girl image in her uniform, wielding a PKM. The base is designed to allow her to be displayed back-to-back with Chisato, showcasing a joint combat scene when displayed together! In addition to the exquisite detailing of the uniform's wrinkles and paintwork, the heavy machine gun in her hand is a major highlight, featuring a metallic finish and meticulously sculpted ammunition. It's almost like buying a gun and getting a beautiful girl for free!~
