The two major toy industry leaders, BANDAI SPIRITS and TAKARA TOMY, following their collaborative dream product 'Chogokin RZ-041 Liger Zero' from 'ZOIDS', today officially announced the long-awaited commercialization of the 'Chogokin RZ-041 Liger Zero Changing Armor Set' and 'Chogokin RZ-041 Liger Zero Unarmored Body'. Detailed product information is expected to be revealed on June 15th.
The lion-type Zoid, RZ-041 Liger Zero, unlike typical Zoids equipped with an OS, was developed based on a "complete wild body." Its most distinctive feature is the changing armor system, "CAS (Changing Armor System)," which allows it to swap armor and weapons to suit different environments and tactical needs. In addition to the gray and white highly versatile "Zero Armor" already released in the Chogokin series, it also features combat armor "Schneider," high-speed combat armor "Jaeger," and heavy armament armor "Panzer."
Bandai has currently showcased prototypes of the Liger Zero Unarmored Body, as well as the three armors—combat armor "Schneider," high-speed combat armor "Jaeger," and heavy armament armor "Panzer"—after being equipped, at the 'TAMASHII NATIONS WORLD TOUR' Tokyo station held today. Continuing the design style of the Zero Armor, these prototypes feature cool, sharp aesthetics, high-density detailed sculpting, and a profound, weighty color application, along with articulated mechanisms to recreate various weapons.
