The popular action figure series 'S.H.Figuarts', released by BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS in Japan, has announced its latest product, 'Kuwagata Ohger', from the 2023 Super Sentai special effects new series 'Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger', scheduled for release in October 2023.
The transformer of Kuwagata Ohger, Gira, was originally a young man who grew up in an orphanage in the Kingdom of Shugoddam. He enjoyed playing with children and often took on the role of a villain in their games. However, the legendary evil empire 'Underworld Empire Bugnarok' suddenly revived and attacked the town. King Racles of Shugoddam, driven by his ambition to rule the world, chose to sacrifice his people. This enraged Gira, who then seized the 'Ohger Calibur', capable of performing the King Armor transformation. He successfully bypassed the royal DNA verification system and transformed into Kuwagata Ohger, reviving the millennium-sleeping stag beetle guardian deity and summoning the giant robot 'King-Ohger' that once repelled the Bugnarok.
The 'S.H.Figuarts Kuwagata Ohger' is crafted with an articulated specification, standing approximately 14.5 cm tall. It boasts a cool physique and faithfully reproduces details such as the stag beetle-shaped mask on the head, the national emblem on the right chest, and the full crimson armor. The left shoulder cape is made of soft plastic. Accessories include three pairs of interchangeable hands with different poses, and the Ohger Calibur, the transformation device used by each king for 'King Armor transformation', is also meticulously crafted, featuring the five national guardian deity devices on the sword guard and mechanical structures on its silver-white blade.
