Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya's popular mecha girl-themed plastic model kit series 'Megami Device' has announced the release of an enhanced unit, "Chaos & Pretty Grandma," following Chaos & Pretty Little Red. It is scheduled to be released in November 2023.
Chaos & Pretty Grandma is an enhanced version of Little Red. Compared to Little Red, who specializes in close-quarters combat, Grandma is equipped with powerful Gatling guns on her back and both arms. She also features three wolf-head units with built-in auxiliary AIs, maximizing her ranged combat capabilities. When all Gatling guns fire simultaneously, she resembles a Cerberus spewing infernal flames.
The "Megami Device Chaos & Pretty Grandma" is based on the previously released Little Red kit, utilizing the highly posable Machineca body designed by sculptor Masaki Apsy, allowing for a wide range of natural and adorable poses. New parts and molding colors are also used to recreate the Grandma image designed by illustrator Nagi Ryo. It comes with three newly designed pre-painted face parts and multiple interchangeable hand parts. For her hair, you can choose between short hair and twin pigtails.
For weaponry, it combines the previously released "M.S.G Gatling Gun" kit with newly produced back support frames, assembling into a unique Cerberus-like form equipped with three Gatling guns and wolf-head units. In addition to the default ranged combat specialized stance, the 3mm universal joints allow for interchangeable assembly positions, transforming her into a close-combat stance wielding dual swords or claws, or freely expanding her armaments with separately sold Kotobukiya model kits.
