BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd.'s collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, today officially announced the latest product from the 'ROBOT SPIRITS ver. A.N.I.M.E.' series, a robot-themed posable action figure, 'LaGOWE,' from 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED,' scheduled for release in November 2023.
The TMF/A-803 LaGOWE is a superior model to the TMF/A-802 BuCUE, both being ZAFT's ground-use quadrupedal mobile suits. In the series, it is piloted by ace pilot 'Desert Tiger' Andrew Waltfeld. It can similarly traverse rugged terrain filled with obstacles using its agile four legs and leg-mounted treads. This unit utilizes beam weapon technology acquired from the Earth Alliance, featuring a twin beam saber in its mouth and a twin beam cannon mounted on its back. Consequently, it requires a more complex two-person cockpit and a larger generator.
The 'ROBOT SPIRITS LaGOWE ver. A.N.I.M.E.' inherits the excellent articulation design of the previous BuCUE. Not only are the head and limbs designed with multi-stage movable joints, but it also features left and right movable chest divisions, a pull-out waist joint, and deployable leg treads. This allows for dynamic and lifelike quadrupedal poses, recreating scenes of running, jumping, and sitting in both tread and quadrupedal forms.
For weapon accessories, you can choose whether or not to attach the twin beam cannon on the back. It also includes beam cannon firing effects, two different angled twin beam saber effects, and 5 sets of back thruster jet effects. These various effect parts not only enhance playability but also add to the sense of realism, allowing you to recreate classic confrontation scenes from the series when displayed with the separately sold Strike Gundam!
