BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., following the previously announced six King-Ohgers from Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger for its Shokugan 'YUDO' series, which is themed after the Tokusatsu 'Super Sentai' series, has once again announced the PREMIUM BANDAI exclusive product 'YUDO PB Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger Shugod Cockpit Set,' scheduled for release in October 2023.
Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger is set in a completely fictional fantasy world. A thousand years ago, six heroes fought alongside the guardian deity King-Ohger, defeating the evil empire 'Underworld Empire Bugnarok' and protecting humanity. They each established five distinct nations across the continent, enjoying a long period of peace. However, 2000 years later, the Bugnarok have resurrected as prophesied and once again invade the human world, prompting the current monarchs of each nation to fight alongside their insectoid mechanical Shugods.
The newly released 'YUDO PB Shugod Cockpit Set' fully recreates in three dimensions the unique control system that resembles a mechanical exoskeleton, which the Ohgers use when entering their Shugod cockpits. The complete set includes five control systems, each corresponding to the five nations' Shugods with different colors such as red, blue, yellow, black, and purple. In addition to intricately sculpted details like pipelines and springs, they also feature multiple ball joints for articulation, allowing them to be equipped with the separately sold 'YUDO Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger' articulated figures of the five Ohgers!
