Kotobukiya, the Japanese model manufacturer, today announced the latest product in its popular mecha girl-themed plastic model kit series, "Megami Device," with the "Asra Tamamonomae Hakumen Kinmou" scheduled for release in December 2023.
This product was originally a North American exclusive, a collaboration between Kotobukiya and North American streetwear brand [[OBJ_3392]]. Based on the previously released "Asra Tamamonomae" kit, the overall color scheme has been replaced with a gray-white tone combined with some gold frame parts, presenting a simple color scheme reminiscent of prototype robots commonly seen in Japanese anime. This time, in order to allow regions outside North America to acquire this unique Tamamonomae, Kotobukiya is specially releasing a KOTOBUKIYA SHOP exclusive version with the same color scheme but with decals changed to Japanese specifications, and it does not include the original design decals exclusive to the [[OBJ_3392]] limited edition.
The "Megami Device Asra Tamamonomae Hakumen Kinmou" kit is a modification of the previous regular version. In addition to the gray, white, and gold armaments all over the body, the body's skin tone also uses the fair C-type color scheme to blend with the armament colors. The three pre-painted face parts have also been modified to the C-type color scheme. The overall design incorporates fox ears, shide (paper streamers), folding fans, and other elements, showcasing the enchanting beauty of the peerless beauty "Tamamonomae" theme.
The full body armament parts include "ECM Jamming Staff," "Great Bow," "Katana," "Nine-Tails Unit Kai (Jamming Armor & Thrusters & EMP Shide)," "Enhanced Sensor & Antenna," and "ECCM Protective Mask." It can also separate into two small fox-type drones, "A" and "Un." Furthermore, each armament part can be freely arranged and combined using the common 3mm pegs and installed on various parts of the body, allowing for unique form variations through various creative ideas!
