Japanese toy company Good Smile Company's best-selling "Nendoroid" (ねんどろいど) toy series will release a Nendoroid figure of "Knuckles" from SEGA's iconic 2D game series "Sonic the Hedgehog"! It is scheduled for release in January 2024, with a suggested retail price of 6,700 JPY (tax included).
"Knuckles," who maintains a friendly rivalry with Sonic the Hedgehog, first appeared in "Sonic the Hedgehog 3." He initially debuted as an antagonist, and due to his trusting nature, he was deceived by Dr. Eggman and had the Master Emerald stolen from him. He possesses immense strength, capable of smashing rocks with a single punch. His popularity has been quite high since his debut, leading to games featuring him as the protagonist.
This Nendoroid rendition of Knuckles faithfully recreates his appearance from the game. For expressions, with three different eye parts combined with three different mouth parts, there are 9 distinct combinations. His arms and legs are articulated, and when paired with his dedicated stand and a background card featuring the Master Emerald, you can truly recreate the in-game feel.
