The popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts," released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., will launch a new product based on "Dragon Ball Z": the "S.H.Figuarts Yamcha -One of Earth's Foremost Warriors-" (tentative title) action figure. The suggested retail price is 7,150 Japanese Yen, with an anticipated release in March 2024!
Yamcha (also known as Yamcha), who first appeared as Goku's rival in the early stages of "Dragon Ball," is one of the few pure Earthlings in the series. Later, as Saiyan power levels inflated, his abilities became relatively weaker compared to other main characters. His inability to ever advance past the first round of the World Martial Arts Tournament, his iconic "death by Saibaman self-destruction," and his instant defeat by Androids have cemented his status as a tragic "fodder king."
The "S.H.Figuarts Yamcha -One of Earth's Foremost Warriors-" (tentative title) action figure is based on his appearance from the "Cell Saga," his final battle before withdrawing from the fighting stage. He sports neat short hair and battle-worn scars on his face. It includes three interchangeable facial expressions: a serious standard face, a gritting teeth face for combat, and a shouting face. Poignantly, it also comes with a struggling face depicting him being grabbed by Android 20, along with interchangeable hand parts for use with Android 20. The figure features a transparent part design to represent his body being impaled, allowing fans to recreate the classic "Yamcha Skewer" scene...
