Kotobukiya, a Japanese model manufacturer, recently announced the latest collaborative product, "Nodoka Takahata," from its popular mecha girl plastic model series 『Megami Device』, in partnership with 《Alice Gear Aegis》, slated for release in May 2024.
Nodoka Takahata, an original protagonist who appeared in the anime series 《Alice Gear Aegis Expansion》, was originally a 15-year-old girl who loved mountain climbing. One day, after seeing Yotsuyu Hirasaka's active combat prowess on TV, she became an ardent fan. She not only collected a large amount of Yotsuyu merchandise but even went directly to Narukozaka Manufacturing to get closer to Yotsuyu, volunteering to become an "Actress" just like her. However, due to insufficient aptitude for the profession, she almost gave up. With Yotsuyu's persuasion and the rigorous training from everyone at Narukozaka, Nodoka eventually successfully obtained her Actress license.
The "Megami Device Nodoka Takahata" recreates her in-show appearance, based on character designs by Rikiya Okano and Kanetake Ebikawa, combined with Masaki Apsy's Machineca body. Standing at approximately 10+ cm tall, it features flexible articulation and a parts separation design that captures her complex in-show color scheme. With three pre-painted interchangeable face parts and various hand gestures, you can recreate her usual cute smile, serious expression, or even her nosebleed-inducing excitement.
For her armaments, her dedicated equipment "SL-HEDY24MkX" has been sculpted, showcasing cool detailed designs on its pristine white armor. Thanks to the movable back support, the top armament and side thrusters can rotate in multiple directions, recreating scenes where its four conical muzzles turn forward to fire piercing lasers. The model even includes an original separation gimmick, allowing you to pose her in cool combat stances with her rifle and long sword.
Furthermore, the product will include a redemption code for in-game items. Using it in the mobile game 《Alice Gear Aegis》 will grant you a set of "Nodoka Takahata's Exclusive ★4 Equipment"!
