GOOD SMILE COMPANY's MECHA SMILE brand in Japan has announced the latest product from its "MODEROID" model kit series, "MODEROID Gridman (Universe Fighter) & Big Goldburn," based on the theatrical anime film《GRIDMAN UNIVERSE》. The suggested retail price is 6,100 JPY, with an anticipated release in March 2024.
The "MODEROID Gridman (Universe Fighter) & Big Goldburn" model kit brings to life the enhanced forms from the theatrical anime film《GRIDMAN UNIVERSE》. It faithfully recreates Gridman's evolution into its Universe Fighter form, and the mechanical monster Goldburn is also enhanced into the much larger Big Goldburn. Gridman (Universe Fighter) stands approximately 10 cm tall after assembly, utilizing a rich array of molded colors such as gold, silver, and metallic blue, along with pre-painted parts and decals, allowing for a near-show-accurate appearance right out of the box. Big Goldburn measures approximately 300mm in length, with its dorsal fins and chest ornament featuring clear parts.
It can combine with the separately sold "MODEROID DYNAZENON" to recreate the new form from the series, "Super Dragon King Combination Super Human Rogue Kaiser Gridman"! (Some parts replacement is required). In its combined state, it stands approximately 240mm tall (to the front of the shoulders) and can recreate the "Grid Hyper Fixer Beam" firing pose.
