The popular action figure series "figma", released by Japanese model manufacturer Max Factory, showcased a prototype of its latest work, "Link: Tears of the Kingdom Ver.", from Nintendo's highly popular video game "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" at today's "Anime Expo". The release date is yet to be determined.

"The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" continues the story of its predecessor, "Breath of the Wild", depicting a brand new adventure after the defeat of Calamity Ganon. Castle walls float into the sky, mysterious ruins descend from above, and sudden cataclysms strike the land of Hyrule. Protagonist Link embarks on a journey once again, this time not only fighting alongside new-generation warriors like Sidon, Riju, Tulin, and more, but also utilizing new abilities such as Recall, Fuse, Ultrahand, and Ascend to freely explore sky islands, the dark depths, and the transformed landscapes of Hyrule.
"figma Link: Tears of the Kingdom Ver." brings Link, clad in his new Champion's Tunic, to life as an approximately 1/12 scale articulated figure. It meticulously sculpts details such as the various leather armor pieces, leather straps, chainmail, and Rauru's right arm. It also includes his signature "Master Sword" and "Hylian Shield" weaponry, allowing for a variety of combat poses through the sturdy and flexible figma original joint parts. More complete information regarding interchangeable face parts and accessories will be announced at a later date.
