Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya recently announced that the new product "Chaos & Pretty Queen of Hearts" from their popular "Megami Device" series of mecha girl plastic models is scheduled for release in December 2023.
The latest Megami Device Chaos & Pretty unit, "Queen of Hearts," is an enhanced model redesigned based on Chaos & Pretty Alice and modified with the "M.S.G Super Balance Wing 2" kit. Not only has its appearance been significantly altered, but its overall close-combat attack power and aerial mobility have also been enhanced. The "Queen's Giant Horns," a symbol of the Queen of Hearts on her head, function as sharp blades and can also transform into wings for aerial gliding. The Super Balance Wing 2 on her skirt utilizes new connecting parts that enhance articulation, allowing them to be attached in various locations for costume styling or as thrusters.
"Megami Device Chaos & Pretty Queen of Hearts" is modified with numerous new parts. Its entire color scheme has been changed to the red and black associated with the Queen of Hearts. It retains Masaki Apsy's excellent "Machineca" body, providing superb articulation, and includes 3 newly designed pre-painted face parts that convey an arrogant and wicked demeanor. When equipped and switched to armed mode, it becomes even more imposing.
The "Queen's Giant Horns" on her head can not only be attached to a spear as a sharp blade but also transform into wings when deployed. Similarly, the 8 "Super Balance Wing 2" units can be freely attached to various parts of the body to serve as thrusters or alter the silhouette. All parts primarily use common 3mm pegs for attachment, allowing for unique original designs by freely swapping and combining them. They can even be customized with other separately sold Kotobukiya plastic model series!
