Japanese figure manufacturer MEGAHOUSE's monster-themed figure series "ART WORKS MONSTERS" has announced its latest product from "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters," the "Dark Magician Girl," with a suggested retail price of 26,400 JPY, slated for release in March 2024.
In the anime "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters," Dark Magician Girl is one of the iconic cards in Yugi Muto's (Dark) deck. Her stats are 2000 ATK and 1700 DEF, and her special effect grants her an additional 300 ATK for every "Dark Magician" or "Magician of Black Chaos" in either player's Graveyard. Dark Magician Girl's adorable appearance was quite unique among the dark-styled monsters of her time, earning her immense popularity.
The "ART WORKS MONSTERS Dark Magician Girl" figure, sculpted by renowned sculptor Kenji Ando, incorporates the style of illustrator tyuga, enhancing her charming girlish appeal! Standing approximately 225 mm tall, the magical circle behind her, adorned with pink hearts and clear effect parts, creates a dynamic sense of her summoned arrival. Her distinctive blonde hair and sorcerer's hat, along with the richly detailed sorcerer's attire, feature vividly sculpted details such as the brim, cloak, and skirt, all recreated with translucent materials, exuding a lively yet undeniably charming allure!
