Regarding Patrick Wilson's directorial debut, the "King of Ghosts," producer James Wan expressed his delight in being able to provide him with necessary assistance at any time, especially returning to the “Insidious” series, which holds significant meaning for him: "Patrick was constantly texting me, he had all sorts of ghostly ideas and interesting concepts. I really enjoyed our collaborative discussions back and forth on story, demon design, and cinematography. It was just like the support I received from Leigh Whannell, the screenwriter of the first two installments, and I hope I was able to help Patrick in this chapter." As for what he's most looking forward to in this final installment, Wan also mentioned: "I really admire Patrick for bringing back all our beloved characters. It's truly exciting to see the traces of their growth over the years, and I'm very much looking forward to what astonishing developments this new chapter will bring." Jason Blum, the founder of Blumhouse and also a producer, also shared his thoughts on the film's most terrifying scene: "For me, it's definitely the MRI scene in the hospital. That was actually Leigh Whannell's idea, and it's truly terrifying to watch on the big screen!"
