From China's officially licensed statue collectible brand HEX Collectibles, their brand-new "Elite Dynamic Statue" series will launch its latest product, the "Gaara vs Kimimaro" 1/6 scale diorama statue, themed after Naruto Shippuden. It is limited to 600 units worldwide, with a suggested retail price of $780 USD, and is expected to ship in Q4 2024.
The battle of "Gaara VS Kimimaro," considered a climactic confrontation in the Sasuke Retrieval Arc of Naruto Shippuden, saw not only Rock Lee's incredibly cool return from severe injury, performing a classic Drunken Fist, but also Gaara, his formidable rival from the Chunin Exams, arriving as an ally to assist. The powerful showdown pitted Gaara, who manipulates sand, against Kimimaro, who uses his Kekkei Genkai to control bones. Kimimaro, heavily wounded by terrifying techniques like Sand Waterfall Funeral and Sand Tsunami, ultimately unleashed his ultimate dance, "Dance of the Clematis: Sprout," but succumbed to his severe illness and passed away.
The HEX Collectibles "Elite Dynamic Statue Gaara vs Kimimaro" 1/6 scale diorama statue recreates the scene where Gaara manipulates sand to defend against Kimimaro's attacks. Gaara sheds his former cold and cruel demeanor, returning to the rescue with a firm and mature expression, depicting his cool silhouette standing amidst a sand waterfall! The sand erupting from the giant gourd on his back is realistically rendered with a granular and rough texture, intertwining with Kimimaro's bones, which are harder than steel.
Kimimaro in Earth Release Cursed Seal Level 2, with his skin transformed to brownish-black and dark markings appearing on his face, features realistic musculature and six large bone spikes protruding from his back. Wielding his spinal whip, he prepares to pierce Gaara with his hardest bone spear, exuding an overall terrifying yet dynamic aura! Bone spikes emerging from the sand on the base add dynamism to the overall design. The perfect fusion of characters and scene, with realistic details, brings this classic battle to life, showcasing a vivid sense of presence!
