Renowned poster design and toy company MONDO announced several new products this morning (12th) that are scheduled for limited release at "SDCC 2023". This article will introduce MONDO's new 1/6 scale collectible figure, "Man-Bat", based on "Batman: The Animated Series"!
In "Batman: The Animated Series", "Man-Bat" is certainly a memorable villain, as his first appearance was in the very first episode of Season 1, "On Leather Wings". He is depicted as zoologist "Dr. Kirk Langstrom" who transforms, and the mutagen that turns him from human into a bat monster is a serum he developed himself.
This "Man-Bat" created by MONDO fully recreates Dr. Langstrom's massive wings, dark brown body, and blue trousers after transforming into the bat monster. In addition to articulated arms, it also includes replacement parts for a wingspan of 34 inches (approximately 86 cm)! Furthermore, the head sculpt lineup is not only rich but each is a masterpiece. The head sculpt depicting Dr. Langstrom's facial contours mid-transformation can even be paired with a white shirt that's about to burst, fully showcasing the dramatic tension of his physical change. This is truly a super cool "Batman: The Animated Series" toy.
