Following the release of "Super Saiyan 4 Son Goku" and "Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta," the popular "S.H.Figuarts" action figure series, issued by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, has once again announced its latest product from "Dragon Ball GT": the "S.H.Figuarts Son Goku -GT-" action figure! The suggested retail price is 5,500 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in January 2024!
In the original TV anime "Dragon Ball GT," due to a slip of the tongue by Emperor Pilaf when wishing upon the Ultimate Dragon Balls, the protagonist Goku, who was already a grandfather, was transformed into a child appearing to be only about 11 years old. If the Ultimate Dragon Balls could not be gathered within one year, Earth would explode and be destroyed! Thus, the rejuvenated Goku, along with his granddaughter Pan, Trunks, and others, embarked on a cosmic adventure to find the Ultimate Dragon Balls.
The "S.H.Figuarts Son Goku -GT-" action figure features a new joint mechanism, reappearing in the form of Kid Goku from "Dragon Ball GT"! Standing approximately 8 cm tall, it faithfully recreates his blue shirt and orange-yellow pants color scheme. It comes with multiple interchangeable face parts, including an innocent normal face, a glaring battle face, a shouting face, and a gritted-teeth face. Paired with the Kamehameha effect part, it can perfectly reproduce the action of unleashing his signature move! Despite its small stature, it boasts the latest articulation design, allowing for dynamic poses such as wide stances and bent knees. Additionally, it includes interchangeable hair parts to recreate his spiky hair swaying with movement~
