SQUARE ENIX Japan recently announced the latest product from its alloy-made mini character figure series 'BRIGHT ARTS GALLERY', the 'Chocobo' from 'FINAL FANTASY', scheduled for release in November 2023.
The Chocobo is a fictional creature that has appeared throughout the 'FINAL FANTASY' series. It is a large, ostrich-like bird with feathers of various colors depending on its species, and it emits a distinctive birdy odor. Its wings are atrophied, making flight almost impossible, but its strong legs allow it to run at high speeds. Therefore, Chocobos are often tamed as land mounts, and they can be domesticated using their favorite "Gysahl Greens". Due to their adorable appearance and calls, Chocobos have become iconic and highly popular mascots of the FF series. Later, they were designed into a two-head-tall chibi style, leading to video games starring Chocobos such as 'Chocobo Racing' and 'Chocobo's Dungeon'.
The "BRIGHT ARTS GALLERY Chocobo" is a mini-sized figure, approximately 5.5 cm tall, crafted from zinc alloy to create a two-head-tall Chocobo. Its wide-eyed, upward-gazing expression is incredibly cute! The entire body, including the beak and claws, boasts a brilliant metallic luster, with the feathers radiating a dazzling golden hue reminiscent of actual gold.
