Following the release of the classic EVA "00" and EVA "02" deluxe iPASS cards and "Angel" plush shaped cards earlier this year, iPASS Corporation has been hinting at the launch of EVA series 3D shaped cards, building immense anticipation among anime fans. Today (7/20), the veil was finally lifted on two styles of the EVA Evangelion Unit-01 3D立体造型 iPASS cards. The perfectly recreated mecha design, coupled with meticulously designed accessories and packaging, has EVA fans exclaiming that these are absolute must-haves for their collections. iPASS Corporation stated that this series of combined products is strictly limited to 5,000 sets, and once sold out, will never be re-released, further enhancing their collectible value. The products will go on sale on July 27th, so anime fans should mark their calendars.
The Unit-01 3D iPASS cards launched this time come in two styles: the standard Unit-01 form and the awakened Unit-01 form. To perfectly capture the intricate details of Unit-01, model-grade materials were specially used, designed to closely match the original mecha's proportions. The jaw can even open and close. When tapping the card, the eyes of the standard Unit-01 will glow, while the awakened Unit-01, in addition to its eyes glowing, will also have the halo on its head emit a red light simultaneously, faithfully recreating its appearance from the film. These are dream collectible masterpieces not to be missed among mini-sized models of their kind.
This series of products not only pays attention to card details but also features two meticulously designed themed neck lanyards for practicality, making it convenient for anime fans to carry their beloved Unit-01 for transportation and purchases, or to attach with their ID badges, making them both practical and stylish. The packaging is also specially crafted as a model-style gift box, making it perfect for gifting or personal collection.
iPASS Corporation stated that this sales product combination is divided into two types: the 【Unit-01 Standard Edition】 and the 【Unit-01 Deluxe Set】. The 【Unit-01 Standard Edition】, in conjunction with the 2023 Taipei Comic Exhibition event, will have a limited quantity available for purchase at the Medialink booth on July 27th.
