Japan's renowned toy brand Max Factory will release a 1/6 scale figure of the popular female character "Chun-Li" from CAPCOM's famous fighting game "Street Fighter" in July 2024! Priced at 33,000 JPY.
Chun-Li, an indispensable iconic character in the "Street Fighter" game series, can be said to be the quintessential female fighter. Her classic East Asian beauty combined with the striking aesthetic of her powerful leg techniques has attracted many players. Her signature special moves include "Hyakuretsukyaku" (Hundred Rending Kicks), "Spinning Bird Kick," and "Kikoken" (Chi Gong Fist), making her one of CAPCOM's flagship characters.
The original reference for the design of this 1/6 scale Chun-Li figure by Max Factory comes from a color illustration drawn by CAPCOM's character designer "Akira Yasuda" (pen name AKIMAN 'あきまん'). This illustration was a color page drawn for a medication handbook as part of a collaboration event in 2022 with the "Momochihama Pharmacy" in Fukuoka City.

This product is the physical embodiment of that illustration. Standing approximately 27 cm tall (including the base), Chun-Li is depicted with a rare gentle and graceful expression, elegantly seated on a concrete block with her legs crossed, resting her hand on her cheek as she gazes to the side. Her beauty makes one momentarily forget that she is also a formidable female martial artist who is no less capable than any man. The intricate patterns on her clothing and the sculpted lines of her athletic legs are all faithfully detailed and reproduced.
