Korean toy brand BLITZWAY, known for releasing numerous highly detailed statues of famous figures and anime characters, as well as articulated robots, is set to release in Q2 2024 a 1/4 scale statue commemorating the 50th anniversary of the passing of the late world-renowned martial arts superstar, Bruce Lee! Priced at US$499.
As the epitome of Chinese kung fu cinema, Bruce Lee's achievements are undeniably world-renowned. He elevated Asian martial arts films to a new level and left behind numerous highly influential works for future generations, such as "The Big Boss," "Enter the Dragon," and "Game of Death," among others. His iconic looks from these films are still beloved and emulated by many fans today. Many fighting games also create characters inspired by Bruce Lee.
This officially licensed Bruce Lee 50th Anniversary Commemorative Edition by BLITZWAY is crafted in 1/4 scale, standing approximately 55 cm tall. Its design is primarily based on Bruce Lee's iconic yellow tracksuit from his representative posthumous work, "Game of Death." His hair, gaze, posture, and spirit, along with the ASICS sneakers he wears, are all faithfully recreated from the film, with every detail meticulously crafted. Even the base he stands on features a wooden style and dragon motifs, mirroring the pagoda background stage from the movie. And of course, his yellow nunchaku from the film are also included.
