The assembly model kit 'MODEROID' series, launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, today announced the latest product from the anime 'Getter Robo ARC', 'Shin Getter Robo TARAK', scheduled for release in March 2024.
Shin Getter Robo TARAK is an original Getter Robo that appeared in the anime version of 'Getter Robo ARC'. Its pilot is Go Ichimonji, who was supposed to have disappeared on Mars along with Shin Getter. TARAK's appearance resembles a jet-black Shin Getter Robo, and it is speculated to be an individual separated from Shin Getter Robo after evolving beyond its troubles. It possesses abilities similar to Shin Getter, such as Getter Tomahawk, Getter Beam, and Getter Sun Flash, and can also fire a concentrated beam with powerful single-point penetration, 'Getter Laser', from its fingers.
The 'MODEROID Shin Getter Robo TARAK' is a modification of the previously released Shin Getter 1 kit, inheriting the powerful, mechanically enhanced physique of the Sentinel RIOBOT version. This approximately 16 cm tall articulated model is composed of multi-colored molded parts, pre-painted parts, and stickers. New parts are used to recreate the distinct head sculpt and two Getter Tomahawks with spiral spearheads. Its flexible articulation allows for dynamic and cool battle poses!
